30th June 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Redshank, 1 Oystercatcher, 1 Kingfisher on Teal Pool 2 Redshank + 2 young, 2 Oystercatcher, Several Reed Warbler chicks being fed on East Marsh. Several Comma, Red Admiral and Small Tortoiseshell. Several groups of Peacock caterpillars on nettles nr East Marsh Hide |

Water Rail still showing Cenral Marsh.
Plus the usual sightings as reported over the past few days, but the Black-tailed Godwits appear to have gone, as one only was seen this morning, and that was seen to leave mid morning. |

Sunday 28-6-2009 1 - Kingfisher - West Marsh Pool 7:30AM. 1 - Black Tailed Godwit - East Marsh Pool - 11:00AM approx. 1 - Cuckoo - West Marsh Pool 8:15AM. Heard Cettis Warblers on numerous occasions,Lapwing + Chicks,Little Ringed Plover,Oystercatcher, Common Tern + Chicks, Heron (4),On East Marsh Pool.

Curlew over East Marsh Pool @ 7.35am + Hobby a little later! Young Muntjac Female on bank. Kingfisher (3), Cuckoo seen and calling, Sparrowhawk, Green Sandpiper (3), Coal Tit, Willow Tit, Nuthatch in Horsetail. Good few Dragon/Damselfly included Banded Demoiselle, Black-Tailed Skimmer, Emperor & Four Spotted Chaser. Also Ringlet, Small White, Meadow Brown & Comma Butterfly. |

Redshank plus young Lapwing plus young Oystercatcher plus young Common Tern plus young LRP and Ringed Plover. Cuckoo Green Sandpiper 2. One on EM and one on Teal Pool. Little Grebe on WM

I saw a male Beautiful Demoiselle and several Common Blue Damselfly's.
