Description:
A bulky dragonfly with a broad, flattened
abdomen, in males (above) this is pale blue (yellowish-brown in
females and immature males) with yellow lateral spots. Look also for the
blue-green antehumeral stripes and the brown markings at the base of the
wings.
Areas:
Swallow Pool, Central Marsh.
