Description:
Both sexes have a narrow, tapering dark brown abdomen with yellow sides, and black at the tip. The wings are characteristically marked with broad, brown patches at the base and a smaller spot on the middle of the leading edge. Some individuals have additional extensive dark marks near the wing tip.
