Common Blue Damselfly - Enallagma Cyathigerum

Description:
Males (above) can be distinguished from other blue damselflies by the club shaped black mark on top of segment 2 and by the all-blue upper surface of segment 8 and 9, which often appear to be brighter blue than other segments. Females can be distinguished from all other species except the blue-tailed damselflies by the medial spine on the underside of segment 8.
