Description:
This large hawker has amber-tinted wings and two lemon-coloured bars on the sides of the thorax. Males have blue spots along the side of the abdomen and blue-tinted eyes, and females (above) have pale yellow abdominal markings and yellow-tinted eyes, but neither feature may be immediately clear when the insect is in flight.
